  • The Boydian Code

Ever since my friend Justin moved to NYC, I started noticing his last name all over the place.

The first instance was probably the strangest. I was looking through the library at Xanga and came across this book: Boyd: The Fighter Pilot Who Changed the Art of War

The next time I saw something was on the train ride home from JFK. There’s a subway stop called Boyd Avenue on the A train.

When I was looking up good restaurants for my friends to go to when they visit NYC for New Years, I came across Boyd Thai.

I was reading an article linked from Google news about facial recognition, and the person being interviewed was named Boyd.

Finally, when reading some random research paper, I came across this in one of the citations:

[16] J. Little and J. Boyd, “Recognizing people by their gait: the shape of motion,” Videre, vol. 1, no. 2, pp. 1-32, 1998.

I believe there is something very mysterious going on here, and I will get to the bottom of it. I have a feeling this is a massive Boydian conspiracy.

I’ll start my research using this book: The Boyd Name in History

    ***** Edit **********
I found out that Justin is running some sort of cartoon site. Are the cartoons possibly part of the code? I don’t know yet.
