• Police Academy Bar Crawl

  On Saturday I went on a barcrawl organized by Dave through the East Village. But this was no ordinary bar crawl, it was a police academy bar crawl! Dave came up with the idea, and it was awesome. The shirts were pretty funny, here’s the logo:

  

  it also had a slogan on it, “excellent through alchohol”. And the back said, “we get our guns tomorrow!”. It was a great time, and I met a lot of new people. Probably the best part was how so many people actually believed we were police academy grads, despite the slogan and the fact that most of the people in the bar crawl were probably the last people to ever join the police. A few people asked me about how hard police academy was and I made up some story about how our lieutenant put us through hell and i used the line, “you try walking the streets of nyc late at night, and then tell me about we don’t deserve a pay raise!” Oh man, good times.
